About Hellerwork International

Introduction to Hellerwork

This workshop will give you information and hands on technique in the
tradition of the Hellerwork Training. We will present material on fascial
anatomy, structural integration bodywork, movement and dialogue. The
experience of the workshop can enhance your skills if you are a bodyworker
or a massage therapist. If you are interested in a new career regardless of
your current occupation, it can give you an insight into the possibility of
a career as a Hellerwork Practitioner.


This workshop can be produced at a Massage School, Holistic Healing Center
or Retreat Center. If you are a bodyworker, massage therapist, School of
Massage or Bodywork and you are interested in Hellerwork Structural
Integration Bodywork this is an opportunity for you to get an experience of
Hellerwork.

You can arrange for qualified facilitators to come to your area to present
this workshop. It is a wonderful experience for bodywork professionals,
groups interested in holistic health, or learning more about careers in
holistic health.

The format of the workshop can be designed for your purpose. It can be a
one, two or three day class. See attached 2-day Curriculum as an example.

The cost per participant:
One Day Workshop - $ 200.00
Two Day Workshop - $ 300.00
Three Day Workshop - $ 400.00

Class Size: Minimum of 10 participants, Maximum of 20 participants


Curriculum – Day One


9 – 10 am Fascial Anatomy – Understanding of the fascial anatomy
structure of the human body, description of the relationship of fascial
tissue to muscle, superficial and deep fascia, fascial planes of the body
and connective tissues.

10 – 12 pm Hellerwork Movement – An introduction to basic movement
principles and movement facilitation. Learn patterns of daily movement that
affect the function and development of connective tissue.

11 – 11:15 am Break

12 – 1 pm Fundamentals of Dialogue – Students are introduced to key
concepts of dialogue for creating a safe space, presence, building rapport,
active listening and working with emotional release.

1 – 2 pm Lunch

2 – 6:30 pm Techniques of Structural Bodywork – Hands on course in
application of techniques of structural integration to systematically
improve the structural balance of the human body using myofascial
manipulation methods. Also includes strong emphasis on effective
biomechanics in the delivery of the work.

4 – 4:15 pm Break

Curriculum – Day Two


9 – 10 am Hellerwork Movement – An introduction to new movement
principles and movement facilitation through experiential exercises which
provide a foundation of movement awareness.

10 – 12 pm Techniques of Structural Body Reading – Observation of the
structural patterns of the human body. Students explore the possible
relationships of habitual movement patterns and the creative expressions of
the human personality reflected in physical structure.

11 – 11:15 am Break

12 – 1 pm Fundamentals of Dialogue – Students are introduced to key
concepts of dialogue for creating a safe space, presence, building rapport,
active listening and working with emotional release.

1 – 2 pm Lunch

2 – 6:30 pm Continuation of techniques of Structural Bodywork – Hands on
course in application of techniques of structural integration to
systematically improve the structural balance of the human body using
myofascial manipulation methods. Also includes strong emphasis on effective
biomechanics in the delivery of the work.

4 – 4:15 pm Break

6:30 pm Fill out evaluation form

16 hours of continuing education units (CEU's), if applicable

The format of the workshop can be designed for your purpose. It can be a
one to three day class. The cost will be determined by the design.
