Regional Practitioner Associations
As the organizational structure of Hellerwork International evolved and the practitioner base grew and spread around the world, the question arose, “how do we support and empower such a diverse and widespread membership?” To meet this challenge, groups of practitioners began to form Regional Practitioner Associations to meet the needs of their individual regions. At present there are three Regional Practitioner Associations, all of which have their own governing boards and a representative on the HWI Board of Managers. The RPAs include The American Hellerwork Structural Integration Association (AHSIA), The Canadian Hellerwork Association (CHA), and The Hellerwork Association of New Zealand and Australia (HANZ).
The RPAs are designed to support and empower their members while seeking to maintain a sense of community. These associations are managed by practitioners, utilizing primarily volunteer energy and efforts to forward their goals.
